I wrote this post to reflect on the importance of maintaining a yogic-lifestyle on a regular basis. Here's the catch.....it doesn't mean we have to maintain a rigorous yoga asana schedule.
The practice of yoga is to bring peace and healing to the inner-self and eliminate sources of suffering. The physical practice of yoga, "asana", is most of what I engage in frequently, almost every day to some extent. But there are certainly days, or several days, where I do not practice asana. I just don't' feel like it. Either I'm tired physically, tired mentally or just craving something different in that moment.
There are many other ways to practice yoga, without the physical asanas. It's no big deal if you're just not feeling it.
